Sibs Squad Camp

This year we stayed at two different locations. On the Friday night, the Sibs Squad returned to Ewen Maddock Dam for our World Premiere of Sibs Squad Emotions on DVD (our drama project from 2008). Then it was into camp activities like our disco and party games.

The weather wasn’t the greatest, but we managed to squeeze in some team building on Saturday morning followed by some Low Ropes. That’s where we left Ewen Maddock Dam to head for Underwater World at Mooloolaba.

This was going to be our home for the next night and we were treated to our own Seal Show, Guided Tour and feeding the sharks! We got to see behind the scenes before heading down into the tunnel to set up beds and sleep under the giant aquarium.

With two late nights under their belts, the kids were not impressed with the 6:00am wake up call on Sunday. It wasn’t long until they were their bright and cheery selves again and we spent some time in the local park chatting about the weekend and playing some games before heading home.
